A little bit about me…

I'm Arunita aka Aru.

I feel proud to say that I was born gifted with a knack for painting since I was a child but was made to give it up as I was told that only a corporate career is the real deal. And the same corporate career gave me burnout, exhaustion, and anxiety!

What helped ? -  you guessed it - “Painting and Mr. Maddy”. Yes, painting is that thing that helped my soul feel at peace again. Mr. Maddy is my first dog and he is the reason behind my smile. It's because of him that I am still walking this planet today. He has saved me in more than one way and I make sure to spoil him a lot!

Nowadays I am reinventing myself through my paintings and my connection with nature and animals. I also like to try my hand at animal communication occasionally. I hope that I can capture their pure essence in the pet portraits.

I live happily in Ireland with Mr. Maddy, a yorkshire terrier. I have been doing pet portraits for some time, I also paint other stuff too but not very often.

Since painting helps me so much in every crisis of my life I thought why not share this creative love with the whole wide world!
